Kinect, originally project natal is the latest craze in the gaming world. First announced June 1, 2009 at E3 2009 Kinect is set to release November 4th, 2010 in the states and November 10th world wide. Kinect provides gamers with full-body 3D motion capture, facial recognition, and voice recognition technology which allows for controller free gaming. Old and new gamers alike can now jump into the action and use simple body movements and voice commands to interact with their Xbox 360. Along with new titles made specifically for Kinect like Kinectimals, Kinect Sports and Michael Jackson: The Experience, there are other games that will support Kinect like the highly anticipated Fable 3. With a price tag of about $150 it probably wont be something I'll buy but its definitely something worth looking into. For more gaming and entertainment news make sure to head over to the ICG official website.
